Many of us have stubborn fat despite diet and exercise. CoolSculpting technology uses controlled cooling to target and destroy only these fat cells. In the weeks that follow, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates dead cells. So treated fat cells are gone for good.
CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, thigh, abdomen and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll) and upper arm.
Fat cells that are frozen during the CoolSculpting procedure are gradually destroyed and leave the body through the body’s natural elimination process. Untreated areas will have no change in fat cell distribution.

Freezing away fat from a double chin is as tolerable as using the CoolSculpting procedure in other parts of the body (e.g., abdomen, flank/side, thighs). With CoolSculpting treatment for a double chin, patients may see results after just 2 visits.
Yes the treatment will only work if it’s taken as a course of 5 or 10 treatments.
The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-surgical, which can mean minimal downtime. Often, patients return to work directly after their CoolSculpting treatment. This will vary between people and may be dependent on treatment area.
