Dermatude META Therapy (Medical Easthetical Tissue Activation) works by making tiny perforations or ‘holes’ in the skin using an electrical hand piece. 18 needles penetrate the skin up to 120 times each per second while active ingredients are placed in skin in the form of subjectables. It also causes a minor trauma to the basal layer of the epidermis which actives the skin’s natural repair mechanism to increase the production of collagen and elastin; plumping out fine line and wrinkles as well as smoothing texture, brightening and tightening.
