Welcome to Harmony Day Spa. By booking any beauty treatment appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Harmony Day Spa is a professional Beauty and Wellness Salon in Royston, Hertfordshire. Located at 7A Baldock St, Royston SG8 5AY. We offer a wide range of beauty, spa, and aesthetic treatments, including eyelash and eyebrow services, waxing, massage, manicure, pedicure, facials, nail treatments, and body treatments.

2. Bookings & Appointments

A) How to Book
You can book appointments via our website, by phone, by email, or in person at the salon. All appointments must be booked in advance. Your appointment is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us.
B) New Clients
If you are a new client, we may ask you to complete a short consultation form before your treatment begins. This helps our therapists understand your skin type, health conditions, and preferences so they can provide the safest and best possible service.
C) Patch Tests
Certain treatments — including eyelash tints, eyebrow tints, LVL lashes, lash extensions, and some facial treatments — require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. This is for your safety. If you have not had a patch test with us recently, please contact us before booking.
Note: Harmony Day Spa cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions if a patch test was declined or not carried out.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life can be unpredictable. However, late cancellations affect our therapists’ schedules and livelihoods. So please:
Give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the treatment cost.
If you do not show up for your appointment without any notice (a 'no-show'), we reserve the right to charge the full treatment cost.

4. Pricing & Payments

All treatment prices are listed on our website at harmonyds.co.uk. Prices may change from time to time, and we will always let you know the current price at the time of booking. 
Prices include VAT where applicable.

Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We do not offer credit.

5. Your Health & Safety

Your safety is our top priority. Before and during your treatment, please let your therapist know about:

Any medical conditions, allergies, or skin sensitivities
Any medications you are currently taking
If you are pregnant or trying to conceive
Recent surgery, injuries, or skin conditions in the treatment area
Harmony Day Spa is not responsible for any adverse reactions or problems arising from information not disclosed to us at the time of your treatment.

6. Age Restrictions

Most of our treatments are for clients aged 16 and over. Some treatments (such as intimate waxing, certain aesthetic facial treatments, and ear piercing) are only available to clients aged 18 and over.
Clients under 16 must have written consent from a parent or guardian, who must also be present during the treatment. Please contact us in advance if you have any questions about age requirements for a specific treatment.

7. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
They cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.
Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
Vouchers must be presented at the time of your appointment.

8. Refunds & Complaints

We want every client to leave happy. If you are not satisfied with your treatment, please speak to us before you leave the salon — this gives us the best chance to put things right straight away. 
If you have a complaint after your visit, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment by calling +44 748 469 5544 or emailing info@harmonyds.co.uk. We will do our best to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.

Please note: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds for treatments that have been completed and where no concern was raised at the time.

9. Behaviour in the Salon

Harmony Day Spa is a peaceful, welcoming space for all our clients. We ask that all visitors respect our therapists and fellow guests at all times.
We reserve the right to refuse service or ask someone to leave the premises if their behaviour is inappropriate, aggressive, or disrespectful.

To help us maintain a calm and relaxing atmosphere:

Please keep noise to a minimum in the treatment rooms.
Mobile phones should be in silent mode.
Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.

10. Personal Belongings

Harmony Day Spa cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings brought onto the premises. Please keep your valuables with you at all times.

11. Privacy & Your Personal Data

When you book an appointment or complete a consultation form with us, we collect some personal information (such as your name, contact details, and health information relevant to your treatment). We use this data only to manage your bookings and provide safe, personalised treatments.
We take your privacy seriously and handle all personal data in line with UK data protection law (UK GDPR). We will never sell your data to third parties.

We love sharing our work! With your permission, we may take before-and-after photos of your treatment for use on our website or social media channels

We regularly update our treatment menu and pricing. We reserve the right to amend or discontinue any service at any time. We will do our best to notify you if any changes affect a booking you have already made.

14. Limitation of Liability

Harmony Day Spa and its therapists are fully trained and qualified professionals. However, we cannot guarantee that results from any treatment will be exactly as expected, as individual responses vary.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Harmony Day Spa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services, except where caused by our negligence or breach of duty.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
